Description of Activities and Technologies
Students will pose the question “What is your favorite pizza, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, or veggie?” to 12 teachers and or students on campus (presented in person- Students will practice interviewing others with the Speech Therapist, non-verbal students will have the option for their communication device to ask the question or hand the interviewee a card with the question on it). Students will collect the participants email after the survey question is answered. Surverys can be done with visuals to help students record the correct response given. Students will also create a Google survey and choose one class on campus to send the survey to through Google Classroom. The students will collect the data from the interviews and the surveys. They will then create a bar graph using the website Visme.com. Students will label correctly and input data that was collected in their interviews and survey. Once the bar graph is complete the students will accurately answer questions of value, most, least, and comparison questions. Students will present their graph and findings to the class and email findings to the participants in their survey.
